English Oud has a sophisticated and elegant green tone, inspired by the luxurious world of Harrods and the distinctive identity of the Hackett man. The bottle, this time in a green tone, is inspired by the art of tailoring and its cap evokes a traditional antique bobbin spool. Created by perfumer Jordi Fernandez, it is a complex fragrance that marries the profound complexity of oud, with the earthy, woody scents of the English landscape. It is characterised by a wide palette of noble materials with a British Twist, taking inspiration from the English WistmanÕs Forest. This long-lasting fragrance starts out with aromatic cardamom blending beautifully with saffron, known as the red gold of perfumery, which accentuates the spice and begins to deepen the fragrance with leathery undertones. A heart of rich, creamy sandalwood evolves alongside earthy patchouli in a perfect synergy of noble ingredients to embrace the precious oud wood, the essence of this fragrance. Alongside the oud wood, a rich and alluring dry-down of amber and silky musks softly rounds out this luxurious and incredibly balanced, masculine Woody-Ambery eau de parfum that is hard to resist. Use one or two sprays around your neck and on your pulse points (areas where the body is warmer, such as the wrists, ankles, inside the elbows and behind the knees) from a minimum distance of 6 inches, then allow to dry without rubbing.
